TELEVISION PROGRAMME

The ghosts of Pengersick Castle have been featured on numerous television programs:

STRANGER THAN FICTION- CARLTON TELEVISION
A 30 minute program discussing the legends of the Pengersick Sorcerer and examining evidence for this and the ghosts. (Includes an interview with Robert Snow of the Ghost Club).

HAUNTED BRITAIN - CHANNEL 5
An hour long program, beginning with a large feature about Pengersick's haunting and terrifying reputation. It features members of the public spending an evening here with the Ghost Club.

GHOST DETECTIVES - UK HORIZONS
A frequently repeated, 50 minute program featuring a long investigation by the Ghost Detectives (otherwise known as Phantom or Fraud). Evidence accumulated is interesting, though unfortunately (in our opinion) the program concentrates too much on sensationalism and the notorious (though unlikely) demon dog.

NOTORIOUS CASTLES (working title)- DISCOVERY CHANNEL TRAVEL
A 60 minute travel style program, concentrating on gruesome castles. Pengersick sits alongside some of the world's most notorious sites and receives the longest section. The program also features footage from a Pengersick Ghost Night and features our own Ian Addicoat and Ron Kirby. Although it was filmed for an American audience it is hoped it will eventually be shown here (watch your satellite listings). The program also includes some incredible ghostly evidence captured at Pengersick, it will have to be seen to be believed.

CASTLE GHOSTS (working title) - HIPPO TELEVISION (Germany)
Another program featuring our beloved Pengersick. There is a very strong input from Ian Addicoat and also appearances by Ron Kirby, Alexander the Cat and others. A ten minute clip can be viewed by visiting www.mediaresale.de

CORNWALL GHOSTS - VIDEO
A video with Richard Felix. Included are the Penzance and St. Ives Ghost Walks, interviews with Ian Addicoat and Ron Kirby. There is a big feature of Pengersick Castle and Richard's unique style makes very entertaining viewing.

MOST HAUNTED - LIVING TELEVISION
Perhaps the most exciting project yet? Unfortunately, the finished product was (in our opinion) a little disappointing (see separate comments elsewhere). Featuring Yvette Fielding, Derek Acorah and interviews with our own Ian Addicoat and Ron Kirby. Most Haunted was an hour-long program, with plenty of scope to feature Pengersick's haunted heritage. Broadcast in May 2003, it may well be repeated at a future date.

GARDENER'S TALES - CARLTON TELEVISION
A 40 minute program presented by Jenny Agutter, highlighting the progress of the gardens. The program includes a brief piece about ghosts.
